Each participant needs to register for WALCOM 2016 by filling out registration form. The link for registration form is at the bottom of this page. Please read the following information before doing registration.

  • Registration fees:

  • Each accepted paper has to be registered separately by at least one author in Category A or Category B for the inclusion of the paper in the proceedings of the workshop. Registrants of Category C and Category D will not get the workshop proceedings.
  • Both regular and student registrations include admission to all sessions of the workshop and all breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Registrants of all categories will get a brochure of the workshop.
  • If someone registers as a student, s/he must provide a reasonable certificate from his/her institution. It is advised to send a scanned copy of this certificate along with the registration form.
  • Registration deadline: For each accepted paper, at least one author must register in Category A or in Category B by December 12, 2015.

  • Local (Nepali) Students: Only a limited number of local students will be allowed to register. Students having keen interest in algorithms and computation will be given preference. Registered local students must attend all technical sessions.
  • Interested local students are advised to download the registration form (doc), and submit the registration form along with the scanned copy of money transfer receipt to Ms. Lena Sthapit.
  • A scanned copy of your invitation letter will be send to the respective participant within a few days after the registration. If somebody needs a hard copy of the invitation letter by postal mail, please ask the organizer for it.

Author Instructions:

  • Camera-Ready Submission. Deadline: December 12, 2015
    To submit your camera-ready version, click here to login with the same easy chair account that you used for the submission. After login, click “Proceedings” on the top of the page to reach the upload page. Accepted papers will be published by Springer-Verlag in Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series. Please follow strictly the author instructions for LNCS of Springer-Verlag, and submit the following two files via EasyChair system:
  1. a zipped file containing all your LaTeX files which are necessary for compilation of your paper at our side, such as all eps, bib, bst, sty, and all other source files, as well as the DVI file; and
  2. PDF file of the camera-ready version.

The camera-ready version of full papers must not be exceeding twelve (12) pages. The LNCS publisher has recently introduced an extra control loop: once data processing is finished, the publisher will contact all corresponding authors and ask them to check their papers. At that time, authors’ quick interaction with Springer-Verlag would be greatly appreciated.

  • Copyright Form. Deadline: December 12, 2015
    The signed and completed copyright form is required for each accepted paper. It is sufficient to sign the form by one of the authors. Please scan the filled out form and upload in Easychair with the cameraready version.
  • Author Registration. Deadline: December 12, 2015
    For each accepted paper, at least one author  must register by December 12 2015.
  • Special Instruction to Authors

Authors are requested to take special care in editing the camera-ready manuscript to ensure correctness of language since the paper will be included in the repository of knowledge which will be accessed by scientists and researchers throughout the world for many years to come!

Authors are invited to submit papers (extended abstracts) describing original research of theoretical or practical significance to algorithms and computation. Papers should not exceed 12 pages in LNCS style. Papers significantly shorter than 12 pages are also welcome. If the authors feel that more details are essential to substantiate the main claim of the paper, they may include a clearly marked appendix that will be read at the discretion of the Program Committee. Only electronic submission will be allowed through EasyChair. Submitted papers must describe work not previously published. They must not be submitted simultaneously to another conference with refereed proceedings or to a journal.
